Vaudeville Underground is a diverse circus studio in Salt Lake City that welcomes all body types and gender identities, providing an empowering environment to supercharge skills and build radiant relationships. The school has outgrown our space so incredibly fast that we're already at the final steps getting into a big, beautiful new building. We need the help of our amazing circus community to get over the finish line!

1) Professor Beauxnaire

On a mission to teach and titillate, Professor Beauxnaire is back once again to guide you through a spooky seasonal journey!

 2) Ariel White

Ariel (Charissa) started her pole dancing journey in June of 2024. Her sister inspired her to come and be a part of the pole family. She quickly fell in love with dancing and has been hooked ever since. When she’s not at the studio dancing, she enjoys photography, volleyball, horseback riding, and hanging with her friends. She would also like to give a shoutout to her sister Rachael and her instructor Ky because without them she wouldn’t have the courage to be preforming today.

3) Megan Weeks

Megan took her first pole class a year ago at the Salt Mine. She quickly fell in love with it and the classes have become her favorite part of the day. Today is her first pole performance! 

4) Jade Star

“I'm brand new to pole, but not to dance and performing. I absolutely love dance and am excited to show what progress I've made in the time I've had to learn.”

5) Miz Frizz

Miz Frizz is thrilled to share her love of science, theater, and nostalgia with these lyrics and performance crafted especially for you. Shout out to Bunny (@its_that_bitch_bunny) for collaborating on writing the lyrics and recording vocals for this sultry track.

6) Diamond Deis

Pole dancing for nearly 2 years, when I'm not on a pole I am with my friends, family, or dog (Nova). I started to learn how to be on a Lyra this summer, and I hope to keep trying my best at these amazing artistic sports and discovering more niches in this aerial community!

8) Voluptuous Raptor

Voluptuous Raptor is a student of Madazon Can-Can and Mirage. She is also the co-producer of Chiasm Cabaret, a sexy science-themed variety show which combines science communication with performance and movement arts, happening on October 5th, with her partner, Ranger Dick. They met in 2017 collaborating on science communication events and have been bringing edutainment to the Salt Lake City nightlife ever since. 9) Pixie

The very first time she stepped foot in a room with a pole, that foot was in a glittery high school prom heel and Mel was teaching PIPS. That was October 11, 2023. During this past year, Pixie has thoroughly enjoyed performing, now you can see her perform on stage at Molly’s Gemini Room. She’s just such a baddie and she’s cute too! Showing off her demanding side, she loves to make you smile. Dancing as Cruella by Queen Herby, we hope you enjoy a lil pixie dust sprinkled in your day. 

Morgan

Morgan is a local performer and instructor. She works with Temptaxxions performance group and owns a catering company “Cashew Confections”. Be on the lookout at many local markets for her creativity and delicious vegan treats. 

11) Shanelle and Madeleine

Hi everyone! I’m Shanelle, and I’ve been doing pole and aerial hoop for a few months now; I danced and loved to express myself through the arts my whole life up until a few years ago. Getting get back into dance and experimenting with new movements has brought an incredible spark back into my life!

Hi, my name is Maddie and I am a licensed massage therapist. I am also currently studying social work at the University of Utah. I started aerial classes just a few months ago and fell in love! It’s been so fun and challenging exploring my artistic side with the aerial hoop! 

12) Mirage

Mirage is a local performer in Utah. She teaches classes here at The Salt Mine and finds great joy in supporting people on their personal movement journey.  Instagram: mirage.pole 

13) Meg M.

I'm a professional dancer, choreographer, and performer based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I've been dancing since I was three years old and trained in many styles like ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and more. I'm currently a heels instructor and teach monthly workshops at The Salt Mine SLC. My biggest goal as a teacher is that my students feel my love and passion for dance and feel a connection in their body while moving.

Jax Creative is one of the businesses most irresistible Burlesque/Aerial performers. Not only will she charm you with her incredible skills, but she will also amaze you with her professionalism and flare for creativity.
